FRANK ALLEN has specialized in personal injury matters for twenty years, after spending his early years in practice as a tax, family, and environmental litigator. Frank spent six years in Philadelphia before joining Archer & Greiner in 1980, where he became a shareholder in 1985. Frank initially defended medical malpractice and general liability actions, but gradually assumed more plaintiff’s representations, which have comprised the majority of his practice over the last ten years.

Frank is a recognized advocate. He was lead counsel for the defense in multiple deaths of a New Jersey Turnpike trucking accident catastrophe in Cherry Hill, and was appointed by the court as lead counsel for all plaintiffs in the truck/crash worthiness case of the Senior Care bus tragedy. He has represented individuals injured or wrongfully killed in a wide variety of circumstances, including as recent examples:

  • * legal malpractice from one car accident ($360,000)
  • * drug cases against a Japanese manufacturer involving tainted L-tryptophane ($2 million)
  • * a utility worker who lost both arms due to a defective bracket ($3.5 million)
  • * 20 year old who at age 18 months choked on a toy and as an adult became schizophrenic ($3.9 million)
  • * a construction worker paralyzed by gas explosion ($5.5 million)
  • * general aviation (small plane) and jet crashes (multiple million dollar recoveries)
  • * auto/truck collision, father killed/mother brain injury ($7.2 million)
  • * automobile and truck collisions involving complex reconstruction accident investigations with successful recoveries in the millions of dollars.
  • * medical malpractice for a botched face lift ($20 million)

Frank has tried cases in federal and state courts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as Virginia and New York. He continues to do defense work for select corporate clients, including a recent case in which the plaintiff sought millions in actual and punitive damages, which was successfully tried for the defense before a Philadelphia jury.

As a result of these matters, Frank is well versed in personal injury and insurance law, and can efficiently and aggressively handle both complex and more routine injury claims. His reputation for integrity makes him a standout in the personal injury field, whether he is representing a plaintiff or a defendant. Most of Frank’s cases are referred to him by other lawyers who seek his expertise in personal injury cases.

In June 2006, Frank was appointed to serve as Chair of the Merit Selection Committee for the Magistrate Judge of Camden County, New Jersey.
